        Being the centre of a core branch of engineering studies, the department enjoys housing in an exclusive and spacious building on the campus. It is supported by a cluster of specialized labs and workshops powered by sophisticated equipment and manned by highly qualified, trained and motivated staff. Among its practical workspaces are the AutoCAD Lab, CAD/CAM Lab, Energy Conversion Lab, Engines Lab, Machines Lab, Instrumentation Lab and a high-tech Metrology Lab.
