The campus is located in Kolar Gold Fields township, a 90-minute drive from Bangalore, the Garden City of India and a major base for a host of leading national and multinational corporations. Bangalore is close by and well connected by air, rail and highways to the rest of the country. The nearest railway station is Bangarpet (6 Km) on the Bangalore - Chennai route. The nearest airport is Bangalore (90 Km). The weather in KGF is very pleasant, with temperatures rarely falling below 150C or rising above 350C. Rainfall is moderate and spread over the months April through December.

- The student Nurses ensures the safety of the patient, family environment and collaborates with other health disciplines and hospital departments to ensure the continuity of patient care.
- Student Nurses function best when sufficiently oriented and are provided with the Educational and Technical skills to perform their jobs.
OBJECTIVES:
- To instil and develop in the students an aptitude for Nursing and to provide the necessary knowledge and skill to give comprehensive Nursing care to patients in all types of illness.
- To develop skill in recognizing and interpreting intelligently the Physical, Mental and Emotional manifestation of illness and be able to plan individual Nursing care to patients based on their individual needs.
- To help the students to work in mutual co-operation with medical and paramedical personnel and participate in various programs for prevention of diseases and the promotion of health in the community.
- To help the students to inculcate the principles of mental hygiene and ethical and moral code involved in the practice of Nursing.
