LIBRARY:
In the era of information technology the library is a primary source of knowledge. SAMS has modernized library with about 10000 volumes of books, 2000 reference books and 1000 back volumes besides national and international journals. It also provides Xerox and internet facility. The Digital Library with access to AICTE-INDEST gives entry to hundred's of online International Journals with the latest titles on Modern Management serves as the online reference source on a number of subtle areas related to Management.
HOSTEL:
The hostels form the backdrop of the college. Situated in the quite meadows of the campus they are apt place for happy state to lead a serene far from the maddening crowds of suburbs. SAMS campus houses Boys’ Hostel and girl’s hostel. In all 300 students could be accommodated in these hostels.
AUDITORIUM:
The auditorium at SAMS is one of the most striking features of our college, housing more than 150 students wherein regular symposiums and guest lectures are held.
STUDENTS AND STAFF:
We have been making special efforts to recruit talented faculty on merit basis and to admit bright students from all over the country. At SAMS our professors and Lectures are the best.
UNIQUE SYSTEM
- Students give feedback every month about the faculty.
- Faculty prepares lesson plan & submits to the management by 25th of every month.
- Students Progress report is sent to their Parents.
- Mentor Scheme is implemented every Semester to counsel Students.
- Course Progress is monitored based on Time Table as per Syllabus. It is ensured that Course is completed 15 days before commencement of final exams.
- Two Tests, One preparatory exam are held & One Assignment is submitted by the students.
- Each Student is issued a Syllabus copy.
- Case study, Group discussions & Seminars are conducted regularly.
- Tuesday afternoon is for seminar.
- Guest Lecturers are conducted once in 15 days.
- Students attend Management Fest, Seminars, Conferences arranged by other Colleges.
- To Train Students in Event Management, An Inter Collegiate Management fest is conducted every year & the college magazine in the name of ARAMBH is released.
- SAMS is a Member of Bangalore Management Association(BMA) & British Library.
- College Newsletter “Vision” is released quarterly.
- Placement Brochure is released once students reach final Semester.
- Sambhram Journal (SMRITI), a management journal is published once in six months: April and October.
- Each Semester has a Course coordinator, who monitors day to day progress of syllabus.
- SAMS follows an open door policy where students can contact Principal,HoD & Faculty any time.
- Faculty meeting is conducted on 25th of every month to exchange views & solve problems if any.
